Paul Ash enjoyed an honored reputation in the real estate development and asset management community for over five decades . His innovative financial and marketing decisions were responsible for the success of our company’s value added approach to asset management. A member of the University of Arizona Class of ’52 and a former world class athlete , Paul’s multifaceted background included wholesale and retail sales experience. Perhaps the most important thing that Paul Ash offered during his career was his personal integrity and expertise in preserving and enhancing our corporate and partnership assets over the years of his leadership. Paul Ash’s word was his bond . He was an astute buyer. A skillful manager . And a fair seller. We will miss his energy, vitality, and abilities to successfully develop , acquire and manage all types of properties. Paul Ash was the major force behind the firm and has left his legacy to the Paul Ash Management staff as they tackle new challenge in the years and decades to follow.
Bruce Ash, President/CEO, is a Certified Property Manager (CPM) and a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management. The CPM designation is awarded to professional property managers who have distinguished themselves by their experience, education, and ethical conduct. Bruce’s substantial training and fresh, new approach to the challenges of asset management have made him a valuable asset to our firm. He is a 1975 graduate of the University of Arizona with a degree in Real Estate and Finance. Mr. Ash has served on the board of many local and national boards and is a community leader as a volunteer activist.
Michael Ash joined the company in 2008 after serving our country in government service. He is a 2006 graduate of the University of Arizona. Michael approaches his responsibilities at Paul Ash Management Company from the same standpoint as his grandfather and father. Customer service comes first; he is a hardworking professional and active at each asset he manages. Michael has learned the basics of real estate are just as important today as when the business was founded. Michael Ash serves at the company’s Designated Broker.
Chief Financial Officer, Natalie Kujawa, was raised in Tucson and attended the University of Arizona. After graduating, Natalie earned her CPA certification working for a national accounting firm in which she specialized in the hospitality and real estate industries. Her public accounting work included audit, tax, and consulting work. Natalie has been in her current position with Paul Ash Management since 2006. She is extremely service-oriented. Her first priority is always the client.
The newest addition to the Paul Ash Management team, Barbara Daoust, Senior Vice President – Community Association Director. Barbara will be over seeing the management of associations and is responsible for supervising the association managers.
Barbara moved to the Tucson area over nine years ago from New Jersey with her husband Gary and two children, Joseph and Jennifer. She brings to Paul Ash over 30 years of property management experience which entails working with developers during the initial creation of the association, managing an exclusive recreation community in the Poconos, overseeing the operation of property management companies, establishing training and development programs for employees, auditing properties for compliance, and assisting in the transition of properties from developer to homeowner control.
Barbara also has 11 years of municipal government experience, and a strong financial background. She served as Budget Officer for the City of Plainfield, N.J. where she was responsible for the development and monitoring of the budget and was part of the management team that negotiated contract terms with four labor unions. She also served in the capacity of Assistant Village Manager for the Village of Ridgewood, N.J. where she was responsible for human resources, employment training and development, and the supervision of facility maintenance.
Barbara has her CMCA (Certified Manager of Community Association) AMS (Association Management Specialist) and PCAM (Professional Community Association Management) designations. She has a Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers University and a Master degree in Public Administration from New York University.
Barbara has rolled up her sleeves using her extensive experience to assist our boards and managers in solving everyday problems. Please do not hesitate to contact her just to say “hi” or to discuss any issue you may have; her door is always open.
Residential Specialist, Darci Rodriguez, has lived in Tucson for 38 years. She first joined the company in 2000 and has been involved in many aspects of property management for over 13 years with a strong background in apartment management. She is currently supervising residential properties in Tucson, Phoenix and Yuma. In addition to receiving her Real Estate License, she has also received an Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) designation and became a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) in 2004.
Danielle Morris is a Community Association Manager on our team who has a passion for customer service and is dedicated to the communities she works with. A Southern California native, Danielle graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a degree in Civil Engineering but found her calling in HOA management after a career change in 2010 when she relocated to Arizona. She is a member of the Community Association Institute and is a Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA)
Shaw has been working in property management since 2012 throughout the Southern Arizona region. She has a strong background in association management including master planned communities, single-family homes and cooperatives. Shaw started as Community Association Assistant has worked up to a Community Association Manager position. She is currently a candidate for the CMCA (Certified Manager of Community Association) designation. Shaw strives to provide great customer service and attention to detail. Shaw is originally from Louisiana and has been in Tucson for 23 years, has been married for 14 years, and has two children.
